Honda CR-V III generation

Honda CR-V III generationHonda CR-V 2007 is a representative of the third generation of Japanese compact SUVs. The four-door car has five seats. Compared to previous models, it is characterized by controllability and a high level of safety. The model is available in three versions: LX, EX and the full-featured EX-L.

Car design

The car's appearance has become more refined and modern. The body lines add dynamics and style to the exterior. The relief lines of the lower part of the car attract attention. The arched shape of the side windows adds sophistication and elegance to the exterior.

The new CR-V model has increased in width, although it has become slightly shorter. By moving the spare tire under the cargo compartment, the space in the car was increased.

In 2010, the car underwent a facelift. You can recognize the updated crossover by the refined radiator grille, which received wider openings, and changed fog lights. The stern has a new shape.

The interior of the third generation SUV is dominated by a luxurious design with a sporty character. Depending on the configuration, leather seats with convenient adjustment and side reinforcement are available. Particular attention is drawn to the separate armrests for the driver and passenger. An additional accent in the cabin is the panoramic roof. The model has a voice-controlled satellite navigation system, Bluetooth and a USB connector. A striking element in the design is the blue dashboard.

The audio system is represented by a CD changer with 6 disks.

Technical features

The engine lineup includes 2.4-liter 4-cylinder inline engines with a capacity of 166 horsepower, which is combined with a 5-speed automatic transmission. The model was designed for the American consumer. For the European market, the manufacturer offers 2-liter or 2.2-liter power units with a 5-speed automatic. The updated model abandoned the manual transmission.

The restyled model received a 180-horsepower engine.

Comfort and safety systems

The third-generation CR-V is characterized by a smooth ride, high maneuverability, and high-quality noise insulation thanks to improvements to the body and chassis.

After the restyling in 2009, the crossover model received an updated grille and a refined taillight shape. The restyled car has larger 18 and 19-inch wheels and a premium audio system.

The updated model has front and side airbags for the driver and passenger, as well as side curtains. The list of safety and comfort systems includes ABS, disc brakes, stability control, tire pressure monitoring, and a rearview camera for the top trim.
