Honda CR-V 6th generation

Honda CR-V 2022 is a compact crossover of the Japanese automaker, a representative of the sixth generation. The SUV is presented in four versions: EX, EX-L, Sport Touring, Sport. The Honda Architecture platform was used for the new generation car.

The 2022 model cannot be confused with others. The representative of the sixth generation received a bright architecture, smooth lines, and a narrowed shape of the head optics. A special emphasis was placed on the radiator grille with massive cells and an updated bumper. The crossover gained in width. The exhaust pipes are finished in the form of chrome overlays that emphasize the elegance of the design and the dynamic character of the model. Depending on the configuration, 17, 18 and 19-inch wheels are available.

The taillights have an original design and are divided into two segments, which are located on the sides of the stern and on the plane of the luggage compartment door.

The interior of the updated crossover is spacious and comfortable. The trim for the top models includes artificial wood trim, chrome-plated plastic, and elements with a matte finish. The front seats have a comfortable shape, side and lumbar support, and can be adjusted to several positions. The model has a high luggage compartment capacity.

The model is equipped with the Honda infotainment system. Depending on the configuration, the crossovers have 5-inch or 7-inch multimedia screens that support Android Auto and Apple Car Play. An audio system with 9 speakers and a navigation system are optional.

Technical characteristics

Under the hood of the updated models of the Japanese SUV is a 1.5-liter 4-cylinder inline engine. The turbocharged power engine in this category produces 190 horsepower. It is combined with front and all-wheel drive.

A hybrid transmission is available for Sport and Sport Touring. The manufacturers combined a 4-cylinder engine with a displacement of 2 liters and a pair of electric motors. In total, they managed to achieve a power of 204 hp. The car can accelerate to a hundred kilometers in 7.9 seconds.

Among the driver's assistants and safety systems, there is a descent control assistant that allows you to adjust the speed on slippery or steep slopes. Standard technologies include blind spot monitoring and road sign recognition.

The car received options for frontal collision warning, lane keeping and lane departure warning, adaptive cruise control, and others.
