Honda CR-V is a compact crossover of the Japanese automaker, a representative of the sixth generation. The SUV is presented in four modifications: EX, EX-L, Sport Touring, Sport. The Honda Architecture platform was used for the new generation car.

The 2024 model cannot be confused with others. The representative of the sixth generation received a bright architecture, smooth lines, and a narrowed shape of the head optics. A special emphasis was placed on the radiator grille with massive cells and an updated bumper. The crossover gained in width. The exhaust pipes are finished in the form of chrome overlays that emphasize the elegance of the design and the dynamic character of the model. The interior of the updated crossover is spacious and comfortable. The trim for the top models includes artificial wood trim, chrome-plated plastic, and elements with a matte finish. The front seats have a comfortable shape, side and lumbar support, and can be adjusted to several positions. The model has a high luggage compartment capacity.

The model is equipped with the Honda infotainment system. Depending on the configuration, the crossovers have 5-inch or 7-inch multimedia screens that support Android Auto and Apple Car Play. An audio system with 9 speakers and a navigation system are optional.

Technical characteristics

Under the hood of the updated models of the Japanese SUV is a 1.5-liter 4-cylinder inline engine. The turbocharged power engine in this category produces 190 horsepower. It is combined with front and all-wheel drive.

A hybrid transmission is available for Sport and Sport Touring. The manufacturers combined a 4-cylinder engine with a displacement of 2 liters and a pair of electric motors. In total, they managed to achieve a power of 204 "horses". The car can accelerate to a hundred kilometers in 7.9 seconds.

Among the driver's assistants and safety systems, there is a descent control assistant that allows you to adjust the speed on slippery or steep slopes. Standard technologies include blind spot monitoring and road sign recognition.

The car received options for frontal collision warning, lane keeping and lane departure warning, adaptive cruise control, and others.


The engine may not start if the keyless remote is subjected to strong radio waves. Do not hold the ENGINE START/STOP button to start the engine.
If the engine does not start, wait at least 30 seconds before starting the engine again.
The immobilizer system protects your vehicle from theft. If an improperly coded device is used, the engine’s fuel system is disabled.

If the engine does not start using the normal starting procedure, you may be able to start it using the emergency start procedure below. Do not use this procedure if it is not an emergency.
1. Make sure the parking brake is applied. The parking brake and brake system indicator (red) comes on for 30 seconds when you pull up the electric parking brake switch.
2. Check that the transmission is in (P, then set the power mode to ACCESSORY.
3. Firmly depress the brake pedal, then press and hold the ENGINE START/STOP button for at least 15 seconds.

If the beeper sounds, the To start, touch start button with emblem side of remote message appears on the driver information interface, the ENGINE START/STOP button flashes, and the engine won’t start, start the engine as follows:
1. Press the ENGINE START/STOP button. The beeper sounds and the ENGINE START/STOP button flashes for about 30 seconds.
2. Touch the center of the ENGINE START/STOP button with the H logo on the keyless remote while the ENGINE START/STOP button is flashing.
The buttons on the keyless remote should be facing you. The beeper sounds, and the ENGINE START/STOP button stays on for about 10 seconds.
3. Depress the brake pedal and press the ENGINE START/STOP button while the ENGINE START/STOP button is on.The engine starts. If you don’t depress the pedal, the mode will change to ACCESSORY
