Honda CR-V Programmed Fuel Injection (PGM-FI) system ➜ DTC P0107: MAP Sensor Circuit Low Voltage

YES : Check for poor connections or loose terminals at the MAF sensor/IAT sensor and the PCM. If the PCM
was updated, substitute a known-good PCM See PCM REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION or PCM
UPDATE , then recheck. If the PCM was substituted, go to step 1.
NO : Troubleshooting is complete. If the PCM was substituted, replace the original PCM See PCM
REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION or PCM UPDATE . If any other Pending or Confirmed DTCs are
indicated, go to the indicated DTC's troubleshooting.

P0107 MAP SENSOR CIRCUIT LOW VOLTAGE
1. Problem verification:
ο‚‘
ο‚‘
1. Turn the ignition switch to ON (II).
2. Check the parameter(s) below with the HDS.
Threshold
Values
Current conditions
Unit Values Unit
Signal
MAP SENSOR Less than 0.23 V
Do the current condition(s) match the threshold?
YES : The failure is duplicated. Go to step 2.
NO : Intermittent failure, the system is OK at this time. Check for poor connections or loose terminals at
the MAP sensor and the PCM.
2. Determine possible failure area (MAP(PB) line, others):
ο‚‘
1. Turn the ignition switch to LOCK (0).
2. Disconnect the following connector.
ο‚‘
MAP sensor 3P connector
ο‚‘
ο‚‘
3. Turn the ignition switch to ON (II).
4. Check the parameter(s) below with the HDS.
Threshold
Values
Current conditions
Unit Values Unit
Signal
MAP SENSOR Less than 0.23 V
Do the current condition(s) match the threshold?
YES : Go to step 5.
NO : Go to step 3.
3. Determine possible failure area (MAP sensor, others):
ο‚‘
1. Measure the voltage between test points 1 and 2.
Test condition IG ON (II)
MAP sensor 3P connector: disconnected
Test circuit VCC1, SG1
Test point 1 MAP sensor 3P connector No. 1 (GRY)

Is there about 5.0 V?
YES : REPLACE THE MAP SENSOR , then do the repair verification .
NO : Go to step 4.
4. Open wire check (VCC1 line):
ο‚‘
ο‚‘
ο‚‘
1. Turn the ignition switch to LOCK (0).
2. Jump the SCS line with the HDS.
3. Disconnect the following connector.
PCM connector C (49P)
ο‚‘
4. Check for continuity between test points 1 and 2.
Test condition IG LOCK (0)
MAP sensor 3P connector: disconnected
PCM connector C (49P): disconnected
Test circuit VCC1
Test point 1 PCM connector C (49P) No. 23 (PNK)
Test point 2 MAP sensor 3P connector No. 3 (PNK)

Is there continuity?
YES : The VCC1 wire is OK. Update the PCM See PCM REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION or
PCM UPDATE if it does not have the latest software, or substitute a known-good PCM See PCM
REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION or PCM UPDATE , then do the repair verification .
NO : Repair an open in the VCC1 wire between the PCM (C23) and the MAP sensor, then do the repair
verification .
5. Shorted wire check (MAP(PB) line):
ο‚‘
ο‚‘
ο‚‘
1. Turn the ignition switch to LOCK (0).
2. Jump the SCS line with the HDS.
3. Disconnect the following connector.
PCM connector B (49P)
ο‚‘
4. Check for continuity between test points 1 and 2.
Test condition IG LOCK (0)
MAP sensor 3P connector: disconnected
PCM connector B (49P): disconnected
Test circuit MAP(PB)
