1. SUBSTITUTE A KNOWN-GOOD XM RECEIVER , and recheck.
Does the symptom go away?
YES : Replace the original XM receiver.
NO : REPLACE THE AUDIO-NAVIGATION UNIT .

RADIO PRESET MEMORY IS LOST (WITH NAVIGATION)
1. Problem verification:

1. Turn the ignition switch to ON (II).
2. Turn on the audio system, and set the audio system presets.
3. Turn the ignition switch to LOCK (0) for 1 minute, then turn it back to ON (II).
4. Turn on the audio system, and test the preset buttons for proper recall operation.
Do the preset buttons recall the set radio stations?
YES : Intermittent failure. The system is OK at this time.
NO : REPLACE THE AUDIO-NAVIGATION UNIT .

1. Determine possible failure area (audio switch panel, audio unit):

1. Turn the ignition switch to ON (II).
ο‘
2. Turn on the audio unit, and set each of the radio station preset buttons.
Does each button set properly?
YES : Go to step 2.
NO : REPLACE THE AUDIO SWITCH PANEL .
2. Problem verification:

1. Turn the ignition switch to LOCK (0) for 1 minute, then turn it back to ON (II).
2. Turn on the audio unit, and test the preset buttons for proper recall operation.
Do the preset buttons recall the set radio stations?
YES : Intermittent failure. The system is OK at this time.
NO : REPLACE THE AUDIO UNIT .
