5. Reconnect the driver's air mix control motor connector.
6. Turn the ignition switch to ON (II).
7. Using the backprobe set, measure the voltage between terminals No. 1 and No. 2.
MAX COOL: About 0.5 V
MAX HOT: About 4.0 V
8. If either the resistance or the voltage readings are not as specified, replace the driver's air mix
control motor.
HUMIDITY/IN-CAR TEMPERATURE SENSOR TEST
TEST
NOTE:
1. Humidity Sensor - Test
NOTE:
Before testing the sensor, check for climate control DTCs.
The climate control unit receives humidity (%) data via digital
transmission.
1. Turn the ignition switch to LOCK (0).
2. Press and hold both the AUTO (A) and RECIRCULATION (B) buttons, then start the engine.
3. After the engine starts, release both buttons. The climate control unit will flash the sensor number
and then the value for that sensor.
4. Press the REAR WINDOW DEFOGGER button (C) until the humidity "C" is displayed. For details
about the displayed content.
5. If the value is far from the actual humidity, replace the humidity/in-car temperature sensor.

2. In-Car Temperature Sensor - Test
NOTE:
The climate control unit receives in-car temperature (Β° C) data via digital
transmission.
1. Turn the ignition switch to LOCK (0).
2. Press and hold both the AUTO (A) and RECIRCULATION (B) buttons, then start the engine.
3. After the engine starts, release both buttons. The climate control unit will flash the sensor number
and then the value for that sensor.
4. Press the REAR WINDOW DEFOGGER button (C) until the in-car temperature "2" is displayed.
