YES : Intermittent failure, the system is OK at this time.
NO : Check the lighting circuit. DO THE MICU INPUT TEST .
SECURITY HOOD SWITCH TEST
REMOVAL
1. Hood Latch
1. Remove the bolts (A), then remove the hood latch (B) from the body. Disconnect the hood opener
cable (C) from the latch.
2. Disconnect the connector (D).

TEST
1. Security Hood Switch - Test
1. Check for continuity between the terminals in each switch position according to the table.
2. If the continuity is not as specified, the security hood switch is faulty; replace the hood latch (A).

INSTALLATION
1. Hood Latch
NOTE:
Apply multipurpose grease to the hood latch as indicated by the arrows.

1. Connect the connector (A).
2. Connect the hood opener cable (B).
3. Install the hood latch (C), then install the bolts (D).

1. Wireless Remote Control Battery
1. Remove the cover from the wireless remote control (A).
2. Remove the battery (B).

1. Install the battery (A).
2. Install the cover from the wireless remote control (B).
